SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

“Teach a child to choose the right path, and when he is older he will remain upon it.”  LB.  “True education means more than the perusal of a certain course of study.  It means more than preparation for the life that now is.  It has to do with the whole being, and the whole period of existence possible to man.  It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers.  It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world, and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.”  Education, p. 13

PARENT-TEACHER CONNECTION

Our school uses AE Connect is a student information system designed by the NAD specifically for our Adventist Schools to meet the needs of Adventist educators.  AE-Connect has been designed and developed alongside educators and administrators and will take Adventist Education to the next level of Data Management.

Our school is using Seesaw.  Seesaw creates a powerful learning loop between students, teachers, and families.

Students show learning!  Students use built in note tools to capture what they know in digital portfolio.  Students explore a variety of powerful and intuitive tools (like draw +record, collage, video, and more!) to show what they know in the way that works best for them.

Families Connect!  Families gain a window into their student's learning and engage with school happenings.
